I participated in a fabric design competition through SAQA (Studio Art Quilts Associates), and I was one of the six winners. Andover Fabrics brought our designs through every stage of development all the way to market. The line is called Urban Textures, and my design is called “Bubble Wrap.”

They are now available for purchase through E-Quilter.

eQuilter is committed to stocking this collection in depth for an indefinite period of time, but in order for it to be a big fundraising success, we need to get it out to other fabric shops as well. (The fundraising is for SAQA).

Check it out!

I am proud and happy to have been a part of this process.

I finally set up an Etsy shop. I’ve been putting it off for years, not willing to sit down and spend the hours necessary to put it together.

But now that it is up and going, I am sort of excited!

I have departments for Throw Pillows, Hot Spots, Friendship Wine Totes and Art.

I’ll add more to the art as I go along. Check it out and give me your criticisms. Be merciless — I can take it!!

I decided I needed an additional “craft” type product, and got excited about the idea of making throw pillows. So far I have three types, a collage of vintage linens, designer cotton diamonds, and use of Molas from Panama. I’ll try selling at the Holiday Shop at Art Plus Gallery in West Reading and the Urban Craft Fest in Wyomissing, PA on Friday.  Wish me luck!pillows 2 molas
